Patricia Wagner
- Director of Records, Reports, and Regulations
Patricia Wagner earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State University in chemistry, studying large chromophores in solution using stimulated emission laser spectroscopy; joining NIDDK as a postdoctorate trainee upon receipt. During this period, Patricia became the NIDDK representative on the NIH Fellows Committee where she broadened administrative experiences and developed a familiarity with federal guidelines and protocols, key to becoming the first hire in the newly created Graduate Partnerships Program (GPP). Experiences obtained during the development phase of the GPP were instrumental in training Patricia to identify missing elements, proposing and executing solutions, propelling her to provide a variety of services to the OITE that have evolved into focused areas of records, reports, and regulations.
