Responsible Conduct of Research
Ongoing training in research ethics is an integral part of your training and practice as a scientist or clinician.
About the training
These courses are offered as a full-day workshop using a combination of lecture, video, writing exercises, and group discussions. There are separate trainings for postbacs/grad students and postdocs/fellows and all NIH postbacs, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are expected to complete the course within your first year at NIH. We offer in-person and online offerings to accommodate trainees and fellows on all NIH campuses. We will provide a certificate of completion to all participants.
Types of training
We offer two trainings:
- Responsible Conduct of Research: Full-Day Course for Postbacs and Graduate Students (In-Person and virtual options are available)
- Responsible Conduct of Research: Full-Day Course for Postdocs (In-Person and virtual options are available)
