NIH trainee affinity groups
Supportive spaces for connection through the lenses of your various identities.
The OITE sponsors affinity groups to provide a warm and welcoming place where trainees and fellows gather to share experiences, support one another, and be themselves. Affinity groups sponsor seminars, community building activities, networking lunches, and social activities for their members and allies. Some events are virtual allowing trainees at all campuses to participate.
Affinity groups are open to summer and academic year interns, postbacs, graduate students, postdoctoral, clinical and research fellows across the entire intramural research program. NIH staff may join the listservs and are invited to some affinity group events.
