Postdoctoral Fellow - Novel Repair Traumatic Brain Injury

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing, and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. About the position

The incumbent will be responsible for initiating and carrying out research projects in collaboration with a team and to work on assessments and treatments for traumatic brain injury in both lissencephalic and gyrencephalic animal models. A number of experimental scenarios are available including changes in brain gene/protein expression, neuropathology/histology, multiple types of imaging (MRI, PET), biochemical and behavioral analysis.
