Research projects will focus on the role of microRNAs and other non-coding RNAs in the tumor microenvironment (TME). We study how non-coding RNAs in extracellular vesicles affect cancer biology and how this knowledge can lead to develop new anti-cancer therapies through CRISPR-drug screening. Candidates are expected to be familiar with following techniques: cell culture, transfections, cloning, DNA and RNA isolation, immunoblotting, PCR, real-time PCR, MTT assays.
About the position
The Staff Scientist III position is a senior role requiring a PhD degree and reporting to a principal investigator or CNRI center director. This position requires a high level of professionalism and expertise and will serve in several roles in the research centeron the scientific specialty and the needs of the laboratory.
