The position is with the Diabetes Genetic Epidemiology Section of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Section conducts epidemiologic studies of diabetes and related traits in diverse populations.
About the position
The candidate will work on projects involving nutritional epidemiology and high-dimensional biologic data analysis of diabetes, obesity and related traits. Duties will include:
- Analyses of nutritional epidemiologic data from studies of diabetes, obesity and related traits.
- Analyses which integrate high-dimensional biologic data (e.g., genomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics) with nutritional epidemiologic data.
- Assist in the design and conduct of clinical protocols.

Qualifications
The candidate should have a PhD in nutritional epidemiology, nutritional science, or a related field. Experience with analysis of nutritional data and with analysis of high-dimensional biologic data (such as genomic data) is desirable.
