Job

Postdoctoral Fellow

About the position

The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Lab is searching for a Postdoctoral fellow with experience in computational biology, functional genomics, and spatial biology. Our laboratory studies ovarian histology and function in children and adolescents with conditions associated with premature ovarian insufficiency. We are using single nucleus RNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics techniques to elucidate mechanisms of follicle loss in these conditions. The successful candidate will be engaged in projects to perform single-cell RNA-seq / spatial transcriptomics analysis, proteomics & single-cell ATAC-seq analyses and histopathological image processing, to harness the full range of biologically relevant data to better understand ovarian function and cell-cell communication between different ovarian cell types in a disease condition.
