Clinical Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Physiology

The candidate will teach a required two-semester anatomy and physiology lab and lecture course. It is an in-person course. Typically, freshmen nursing students are enrolled in the class. The class size is 100-120 students. This course covers anatomy and physiology of the cell and human body. The students will be taught the major human organ systems. Presentations of clinical applications have particular relevance to students preparing for health care professions.
About the position
The lectures are typically scheduled for two times a week on T/Th from 9:45 AM-10:55 AM. Typically three-four lab sections are held per week on T/Th afternoons. Classes begin on August 24, 2024. Course materials are available for use from prior instructors. This is a full time faculty position with benefits.

Qualifications
A PhD in biology or an MD are required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
