The candidate is expected to teach a required introductory biology lecture course. This course is for undergraduates in Biology and related fields who are on a pre-med track. It is an in-person course. Typically, freshmen are enrolled in the class. The class size is ~50-60 students. This course serves as an introduction to general principles in modern biology. It emphasizes molecular and cell biology, evolution, and basic biological and chemical principles.
About the position
The lectures are typically scheduled for three times a week on M/W/F from 12:40 PM - 1:30 PM. Classes are from August 24 - December 14, 2024. Course materials are available for use from prior instructors.

Qualifications
