Event
Visiting Fellows - Monthly Drop-in Group
Speaker: Christina Kuo, OITE
About this event
International and multicultural trainees are a great asset to our community. We also realize that you face a unique set of issues and stresses: missing your family and friends from home, lacking a sense of belonging in your local community, learning a new culture, feelings of isolation and loneliness, job searching and facing the uncertainty of what the future will hold. You are not alone in dealing with these challenges. This group provides a space for our international visiting fellows to process a wide range of stressors at work and personal life. We encourage support and collaboration from group members, and we will focus on wellness management and self-care skills as you navigate your experience at NIH.
